Johanna Magin is a practicing poet (and occasional photographer) based in Paris. Her poetry can be found in a number of fine reviews in the US, Canada, and the UK(> more in the Poetry section). Her recent honors include: finalist for the 2025 National Poetry Series (US), finalist for Narrative Magazine’s 2025 Poetry Contest (US), shortlisted for the 2025 Fish Publishing Prize (Ireland), winner of the 2024 Loraine Williams Poetry Prize (US), finalist for the 2024 Montreal International Poetry Prize (Canada), and longlisted for the 2024 National Poetry Competition (UK). She holds a PhD in French Literature from Columbia University.
